I don’t know how many of you are really following cricket, post India’s disaster in the t20 cup - if you were not, then well Pakistan won the t20 world cup - which is cool…great even; but what really got me cheesed off is the statement the captian made… ‘Come and Play in Pakistan now’.
Ok Younis - first things first…thanks for the invite…it’s a very warm gesture; that really reeks of desperation; but that’s ok..we all know how desperate Pakistan Cricket is anyway - but i’m gonna have to decline; with a few shoved down your throat. What in God’s name is wrong with you?? You want people to come in ‘play’ in Pakistan even now? It’s not like the terrorists said - ‘ok; we are killing your peoples because…they are playing cricket in yours country; but eef your winning world cup; we are stopping the killing‘ Sorry this line looks like something out of ‘Mind your language’ - but i’m guessing that’s how they would have framed it…if terrorists are well spoken and well read, then that’s how the Pakistan media publishes it i guess…but anyway - Younis, get your head checked out for any bullet holes that might be letting the gas out.
btw - huge fan of Pakistan cricket! Always have..always will.

don’t go by the title - i’m writing today about how important a father’s role in a kid’s life is. Now think about it - yes, a mommy’s life is never easy - but the problem is NO-ONE..and i mean..NO-ONE really gives 2 cents to daddy. I’m not talking about the daddy’s that just fucked you and left…i’m talking about the real daddy’s that handle their business; the real daddy’s that day in and day out make sure you have enough light to read, hot water, roof over your head, 3 meals a day and then some.. Yeah, there are some real m’fuckers out there who know how to HANDLE THEIR BUSINESS.
But I digress…i was talking to a friend of mine the other day…and he was telling me about how much he missed his kid and how his wife wants to raise his kid alone and stuff….and I was like - what the fuck is wrong with women today? Sure; women want a career, they want the money; the good life - but you want to raise a kid alone? without a father? That is just bull shyte. The truth is…it can be done. Just like driving a car with your feet..it can be done…but does that make it a good fucking idea?
A kid needs it’s father…so many reasons I can think off - is the mommy gonna teach the kid; especially little boys about the birds and bees? The kids gonna grow up to be crazy and most probably will end up in jail. Is the mommy gonna teach the kid about how kick the school bully’s ass? I think not! Is the mommy gonna teach her little girl about respecting men? uh-uh! I’m telling ya..a single mom who don’t belive in men, will get their kid so bias and will turn a girl into a man hater and a man into a girl - with a white frock and a pink flower to boot.
BUT the #1 reason…why your kid needs a father - it’s so very simple…think about it…when you were growing up…what’s the 1 fucking line that made your pants wet faster than you could say ‘uncle’? No guesses? I’ll tell ya…the one line; no exceptions, every kid’s been through this…the one line; the most powerful line in the world to a kid that will put the fear of God in him/her is - ‘i’m gonna tell your daddy!’.
Trust me, this works like a charm…’I'm gonna tell your daddy’ will make that kid turn into an angel faster that your fat momma can finish her devil’s cake. You can hold a gun to a kid’s head and tell him ‘i’m gonna blow your fucking head off’ and he’ll be like ‘yea, so what??’; but just replace that with ‘I’m gonna tell your daddy’..and he’ll be like ‘ok ok ok..be cool man’
Try it!

So you’re worried about IT Security? Well in this day and age you have every right to be. But what are you gonna do about it? Sit back and pray?? Take action now!
Thanks to the EC-Council you or your team can get excellent class room level training for security training, to be a Certified Ethical Hacker. I bet the next question is…What is an Ethical Hacker??
“Ethical hackers,” are computer security experts, who specialize in penetration testing, and other testing methodologies, to ensure that a company’s information systems are secure. Most large companies employ ethical hackers to ensure that their IT systems, information and their overall security is bullet proof.
What’s also so much more critical is that you’ll be helping your company tighten its security – not in a lame way, but in a way that’s so much cooler!! Think of yourself being Neo in the Matrix!
If you visit the site, and I strongly recommend that you do, you’ll see the great opportunities that are available at the EC-Council. If you look through what they offer, you’ll be amazed at how much there is to know with regards to security.
They offer the following categories: Security Fundamentals, Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Computer Forensics, Disaster Recovery, Secure Programming and a whole lot more. All this is presented in Live, instructor led sessions. You also have the flexibility to choose between day and evening classes. Also there are a few more options and allow great flexibility.

I totally love this!
Navigating with Google’s Street View just got a whole lot easier, and it’s all thanks to the double-click. Rather than being limited to using the forward and back arrows, you can now double-click on a new
place or object and warp-speed your way to that location.
“As you move your mouse within Street View, you’ll notice that the cursor now has a lightly-shaded geometry attached to it - it will show an oval when your mouse is following a road and a rectangle when moving across the facade of buildings,” Google wrote in a blog entry. “We affectionately refer to this cursor geometry as the ‘pancake’ because it has the appearance of a pancake laying flat to the object where the
mouse is pointing.”
Google says its pancake method gives users a sense of depth in an otherwise flat image, and we found that to be the case while playing with the new controls. The new method works well, not only for quick long-distance jumps, but also for auto-rotating the camera view if you, say, click on the front door of a house while looking down the road.

Intel this week said its Nehalem-EX processor, an 8-core beast of a chip, will go into production sometime later this year and start shipping in server systems by early 2010. Even better, each chip supports 16 threads, says Boy Davis, Intel’s GM of the Server Platforms Marketing Group.
Already on-board is IBM, who is already developing a server based around Nehalem-EX. The server will hold eight processors, making use of 64 Nehalem-EX cores capable of handling 128 threads.
“We’re very excited today to be the first to demonstrate Nehalem-EX,” said Alex Yost, VP IBM BladeCenter.
In addition to more cores and threads, Nehalem-EX also ups the memory ante, doubling the capacity with up to 16 memory slots per processor socket.
Does this make sense? Our Take:
People clueless to the server market will obviously say it is
pointless to have more cores because applications are not coded for
multiple cores…These server are not meant to run single threaded applications, they
are going to be used for virtualization using VMWare ESXi or VSphere
where entire servers will be virtualized and paritioned using the
servers bare metal resources. Standalone servers can then be
decomissioned and save the company on cooling and energy costs.
You are able to host all the server of a small company on one of these servers when virtualized.

Not surprised if u ask me. Intel’s next generation Atom platform, code-named Pine Trail, will ease out graphics chip makers like Nvidia from designing graphic chips around the Atom processor, the company said Tuesday.Pine Trail is scheduled to start shipping from Intel in the second half of this year, and like the earlier Atom platform is designed for small, low-cost laptops and desktops, known as netbooks and nettops. The Pineview CPU chip in the new platform integrates graphics and memory controller with the processor core, thus cutting down the number of chips to two from three for the earlier Atom platform for netbooks and nettops. The I/O (input-output) continues as a separate chip, and is code-named Tiger Point.
The opportunities for third-party differentiation and integration now exist only on the I/O (input-output) portion of the platform, said Sujan Kamran, regional marketing manager at Intel Asia Pacific, in a conference call.Nvidia said in December that its Ion platform brought together the Atom chip with a GeForce 9400 graphics chip to deliver better graphics, and full-spec 1080p high definition video. Asked if the move to integrate graphics with the processor could attract anti-trust regulations, Kamran said that there is a growing trend for increased integration on chips of subsystems such as graphics and I/O elements.
The new platform is the most optimized for targeted users, providing reduced power, higher performance, and a lower platform bill-of-materials (BOM) than its earlier platform, Kamran added.Intel did not however disclose numbers on the performance and power improvements from the new platform.
There is opportunity for third-party devices to connect to Intel’s other products, Kamran said.Intel has close to 300 design wins around the Atom processor for netbooks and nettops. The company expects a strong year ahead for Nettops, with broad adoption of the devices likely. Netbooks are still a growth driver, as large markets are still under-served, Kamran said.

The best way to get people and search engines (which means more people) to your website is by getting relevant inbound links. If you have some spiffy new gimmick on your website this may be easy as everyone will be linking to you.
However, with a basic, solid web page the process maybe much more difficult and slower. How do you get people to link to you?
The best way is to empty your wallet! Ok, just kidding, but first we will learn how easy that is.
For example there is a pay for blogging service that will cost you at least $5 per blog post (ie: per link) and maybe $25 or more. Now that will eat up your budget, and fast. These paid blog links don’t come with any guarantee. You might get lots of visitors and you might not get any at all.
Pay per click is another great option for spending all your money. This will bring you visitors for sure and you’ll know how much each one costs. That’s it. There is no long term benefit. The ads show for only as long as you pay for them. When your money isn’t on the table, you don’t exist!
You can buy links all over the place and again this may end up costing you a pretty penny, you may or may not get suitable results but when you stop paying the results (good or bad) stop. You gain nothing for the future.
Now blogs are a great way to get visitors and develop a long term return. Blog posts tend to stick around for a long time. The trick here is to get people to blog about your website without forking over a bundle of your hard earned cash.
I won’t say more, because you have to read the rest of this great article here
